Him and me

seconds turn to minutes, minutes turns to hours

yet here i am at same spot by the window

looking out to the sky pondering upon life

the wonders Allah bestows upon His creations

gone all the sadness that's pressing me down

for i know He will always be watching over me

leading my every step to Him

and ONLY Him alone

could throw away my weariness

make me look life in the eye once again

picking up the dusts on the window sill

i imagine, how easy it is to wipe me off His earth

to blow me into Hell

for once i understand the meaning of total submission

that without Him i'm nothing but specks of dust in His eyes

must i really feel sad because a rejection from His creation?

must i really give up on Him when He promises to love His slaves?

must i then decide that man is more important than their Creator?
