"Aussies ni maju, beretika, punctual, berdisiplin. Tapi sayang, dorg macam robot. 9-5 jobs, blk enjoy kt pub. weekends is for entertainment and 'recharging' their spirits. then monday onwards, work work work. maju tapi takde roh."
Somehow flashbacks of perbincangan ngan kakhanin trsayang aka akak angkat yg suke masak masa atas train dr Roma St station ke Fortitude Valley station pada suatu sabtu terngiang2 kt kepala. msa tu kelibat Aussies serba hitam hopping on the train for a concert at The Church kt Fortitude Valley, sangat menyesakkan pandangan. yup, they are indeed punctual and yes, they are very ethical and disciplined in their line of work, but somehow, at that moment, their souls seemed....well...empty. whilst both kakhanin and i were heading to the Valley to look for ingredients for our makan2 events with the sisters, they were looking out for entertainments, shallow and temporal at that, to feed their souls. whilst we were all covered up in our aurah-covering clothes, they were in black, sometimes revealing, but VERY uptodate garbs. and yes, WE were stared upon most of the time. *smile* reminiscing that day, i remembered thinking about the Prophets saw's hadith,

From Abu Hurairah RA, he said: Rasulullah SAW said: "Islam was strange when it began and will one day be strange again; Blessed are the ghuraba' (those strange people)".[H.R.Muslim]
Translation : Dari Abu Hurairah ra, sesungguhnya Rasulullah SAW bersabda: "Islam datang dalam keadaan dagang (asing), dan ia akan kembali dagang (terasing); Maka berbahagialah orang-orang yang terasing bersamanya." [H.R. Muslim]
Subhanallah, how happy we were that day because for once, we, teeny tiny dots on Allah's universe, are able to connect to one saying of the Prophet. *eyes dampening*
I wish that i could feel like that again.
Yang benar itu jelas dan yang batil itu jelas.
