Just feel tired and burn out right now.

As I Grew Older

It was a long time ago.
I have almost forgotten my dream.
But it was there then,
In front of me,
Bright like a sun-
My dream.
And then the wall rose,
Rose slowly,
Slowly,
Between me and my dream.
Rose until it touched the sky-
The wall.
Shadow.
I am black.
I lie down in the shadow.
No longer the light of my dream before me,
Above me.
Only the thick wall.
Only the shadow.
My hands!
My dark hands!
Break through the wall!
Find my dream!
Help me to shatter this darkness,
To smash this night,
To break this shadow
Into a thousand lights of sun,
Into a thousand whirling dreams
Of sun!

What I've been feeling these past few weeks.

Be With Those Who Help Your Being by Jalaluddin Rumi

Be with those who help your being.
Don't sit with indifferent people,
Whose breath comes cold out of their mouths.
Not these visible forms,
Your work is deeper.

A chunk of dirt thrown in the air breaks to pieces.
If you don't try to fly,
And so break yourself apart,
You will be broken open by death,
When it's too late for all you could become.

Leaves get yellow.
The tree puts out fresh roots and makes them green,
Why are you so content with a love that turns you yellow?

WHEN WE TWO PARTED
by: George Gordon (Lord) Byron (1788-1824)
    HEN we two parted
    In silence and tears,
    Half broken-hearted
    To sever for years,
Pale grew thy cheek and cold,
    Colder thy kiss;
    Truly that hour foretold
    Sorrow to this.

    The dew of the morning
    Sunk chill on my brow--
    It felt like the warning
    Of what I feel now.
    Thy vows are all broken,
    And light is thy fame:
    I hear thy name spoken,
    And share in its shame.

    They name thee before me,
    A knell to mine ear;
    A shudder comes o'er me--
    Why wert thou so dear?
They know not I knew thee,
    Who knew thee too well:
Lond, long shall I rue thee,
    Too deeply to tell.

    I secret we met--
    I silence I grieve,
    That thy heart could forget,
    Thy spirit deceive.
    If I should meet thee
    After long years,
    How should I greet thee?
    With silence and tears.

A Death blow is a Life blow to Some

A Death blow is a Life blow to Some
Who till they died, did not alive become—
Who had they lived, had died but when
They died, Vitality begun.
